Palm Sunday March

A large number of Palestinian Christians from Bethlehem, accompanied by Israeli and international supporters and a horse and a donkey, tried on Palm Sunday to exercise their right to march peacefully to Palestinian East Jerusalem, armed only with palm branches. They managed to get through the fearsome gate before it was closed behind them, leaving them trapped between it and the Israeli police, who arrested many of them including the horse and the donkey.
